DESCRIPTION

Students will create Artist Trading Cards that represent their personal story and will participate in creating a community of artists when they trade cards with a class of 4th graders at another elementary school (Bacon Elementary). Students will learn to employ emphasis, line, value and color to enhance their cards. The purpose of this lesson is to challenge students to think meta-cognitively about themselves and create visual representations of their personal story using art as a visual language.
